Micro-Interactive Shakespeare in Archbishop’s Park
Created by Laitrum Teatre for the National Theatre and part of the Lambeth Watch This Space Festival.
Hola Hamlet! Spanish anarchy meets the Bard. As you manipulate the objects, you won’t have a clue what you’re doing or the story that you’re telling, but your audience of two will have a great time listening on their own headphones to a warped Spanish version of a Shakespearean classic. La La La Tempesta! (runs 120 mins, each visit takes 7 mins). Supported by the European Commission and the Catalan Institute for the Cultural Companies.
The Watch This Space Festival is bringing some of the best free outdoor entertainment to your Lambeth doorstep: look out for us in Lower Marsh, Myatt’s Fields, Brixton Market, Windrush Square, St Mark’s Church Gardens in Oval, Emma Cons Gardens, Vauxhall Bus Station, the riverside by the National Theatre, Ufford Gardens, Waterloo Millenium Green, Archbishop’s Park, Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, Stockwell Gardens Estate, Max Roach Park, The Pavement in Clapham, Grafton Square, Streatham Green, St Thomas’ Hospital and Cleaver Square in Kennington.
